I had been wanting a 1938 Chevrolet for over 25 years, and finally I got one. I bought it in Korunbarra, Melbourne and drove it home to Brisbane over the course of three days. It went like a dream.
I flew down to Melbourne, got picked up by the seller and we drove two hours east of Melbourne back to his place where the car was located.
I looked over the car, decided to buy it, and started driving home. I left about 12:30 a.m. and stopped for the night at 6 p.m. after driving a total of 312 kilometers.
The next day, I started driving at 7 a.m. and drove all day, stopping for the night at 4:15 p.m. after driving 637 kilometers.
The following day, I started 6:45 a.m. and drove all day until I got home in Brisbane at 7 p.m. after 857 kilometers.
Total driving 28 hours.
The car drove really well, no problems at all, and cruised on 55 miles per hour.

Great car! My father bought a new one in 1938 and drove it until 1948.
Its more like 18oo to 1900 hundred kilometres from Melbourne to Brisbane
I would love to have this automobile
Had a 1934 Chevy in 1968. Sure wish I had kept it.
