Bought this ’47 Chevrolet while in college during the summer of 1975. I wanted to restore it right away but now, so many years later its been waiting for me to retire to finally begin. Along the way life got in the way—supporting a family, building a career all demanded more immediate attention than the Chevy ever did. Two years from now I plan to retire and the Aero sedan that has waited so long will get the attention it deserves. I’ll have my hands full with restoration and repairs as I also have a 1946 International Railway Express Agency Delivery truck, also waiting for its restoration attention.
