Hi, from down under, I live in Perth Western Australia, and here is a photo of my 1955 Cadillac Coupe De Ville that I imported all the way from Morrow Bay, West Coast California USA on a recent trip. This Caddy had only travelled 69,000 miles and was in great condition.
The only work necessary to get this car looking good again was to re-cover the facings of leather seats, tidy up engine bay, and replace exhaust system. Then a good buff and polish of the original paintwork brought back a shine and had it looking pretty terrific for its age.

Hello, I am trying to find instructions on how to install a rear quarter window in a 1955 Series 62. Any ideas where I can find instructions or a video?
Cool looking car. I love all the chrome, the bumper bullets and hooded headlights.
Beautiful car, I have a 1951 Ford 2dr Custom myself. Love those 50's models.
I had a very similar car. It was a 1954 Cadillac Coupe Deville. It was the family car but the engine had sucked a valve, so I bought a brand new 390 Cu In Cadillac engine. Since it was getting old I decided to see how fast I could make it go. I put dual 4 barrel carbs and full Loaded cam. Modified the automatic transmission to control all shifts manually. Since Caddys are geared high and I wanted to run it at the quarter mile drag strip, I found a 41 Cadillac Hearse rear end that gave it really low gears. I took it to the drag strip and raced against loaded Camaros and tri-carbed Chevelles and really surprized them by taking first place trophy 3 out of the 6 times I raced it. Just a very fun car and the other racers could not believe I beat them with a Cadillac. Anyway, have a great time with yours. It's a great car.
Beautiful, I have been looking for a 1947 Buick Convertable. I had when I was in high school.
