I have owned my Chevelle since 1972, my son and I did the off frame restoration, which took us 7-years to complete. It is still powered by the factory Engine and original drivetrain components that included a 3:73 rear differential. We did add power disc brakes on the front and switched the Transmission and added GM Aluminum Heads and a GM Aluminum intake manifold, and put the 1970 Chevelle SS wheels on it. For the most part, this great car sits the way it came out of the factory in Baltimore Maryland in 1966.

Hi anyone have a 1966 ss chevelle hood for sale I want oem hood
I too appreciate old muscle cars. I have a 1968 SS/RD big block Camaro that I've had since 1975. Paid $900 for it. It sat in the garage since 1979. Got it restored in 2009 and have been working on putting it all back together. Now it will be on the street this Spring in Decatur, Ill.I
Where is the car located and is there any rust.
Really nice car. It brings back memories of when I was younger and a great friend had one of these and we rode around in it...How does it ride? I bet it is really fast with that high horsepower engine in it. Nice jib with the restoration work. Who was the boss, father or son?????
Nice restoration done the right way! My father worked at the GM plant on Broening Hwy in Baltimore in the 60's and, no doubt, had a hand in building it. He helped in building my L79 Malibu in '67.
I bought a new 1966 Pontiac Beaumont Sport Deluxe Convertible, red with white top, automatic with a 283 V8, loved that car.
