I purchased this 1967 Camaro SS Convertible from a friend that wasn’t doing anything with it and it seemed like a shame to let such a great car just sit. Now, some 10 years later I still haven’t done anything with it either. The car is an original big block SS Camaro, and I have a renewed commitment to get it back on the road.
Don’t get me wrong, I have been trying to find time to finish my 1985 GMC stepside first, but it’s hard to make headway when you’re a handy person and everyone wants something done.
I have committed to getting these projects done, and have decided the best way to keep things moving is to set aside one day a week and work on them. Wish me luck.

So, we're nearly 3 years later. I'm hoping it's done, any updates?
Just wanted to correct a few mistakes, I'm in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada and the car is a RS/SS and for now I'm going to hang on to it. thanks for the encouraging comments.

Boy do I know exsactly what you’re saying about helping everyone else do their stuff and still have two projects of my own. I also own a camaro that I’m building. And my 79 GMC 1500 4 by 4. Almost got the truck dun and then my camaro engine will be ready next week. Also restoring a 63 ELKY for my brother in law. Getting close to paint on that
Good luck. That's a terrific car. I have a 1991 Nissan 240SX with a Toyota 2JZ engine swap, I need to get running. I really wish it was running now, as my daily has broke down for the past two weeks due to a blown head gasket. I swapped a newer engine into my daily, and haven't been able to get it started just yet. I've learned my lesson. I need two running cars at all times!
I am looking for a build project would you be interested in parting with the Camarillo ?
Best of luck to you Hector on your restoration. I purchase a 1959 Lincoln Mark IV from the original owner back in 1980. Life happens, so I understand the delay. My oldest son and I have finally Starting restoring it now that I have retired. Hopefully I can stay on track and get it done in a year.
1967 Camaro was my first car. My parents sold it before I got out of the Navy. Since then I have always been looking for a 67 RS SS convertible, I know you said SS.
Let me know how that works. I am trying to finish a boat for 11 years. The dedicated day seems to abdicate!
