My 15-year-old son and I have been bust restoring a 1968 Camaro. I bought the car in 1985 when I was 15 and restored it then, but even though I had hung onto it all of these years it is in need of a lot of love.
Sharing my passion for this old Chevy with my son we started by removing the front sub-frame, sandblasting it down to bare metal and coating it with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and top coating it with 2 coats of Ceramic Chassis Black Satin. We finished the paint a few weeks ago and have since built up the RideTech front suspension, Baer Brakes, and reinstalled the sub-frame, motor, and transmission in the car. We still have a lot to do, but there are plenty of rewards along the way.
