Okay, I got my good friend, Rick Schmidt from National Parts Depot in the shop with me today. How are you doing, Rick? I'm doing great, Dennis. Man, you guys always bring cool stuff down here and you outdone yourself today. Yeah I'm excited about this. You're looking at upgrading classics to some really modern conveniences. Modern conveniences. You know, we've grown soft- Yes, I know I have. We've gotten spoiled by it all of our new cars and all of the features and amenities that add comfort and convenience to driving. And what we like as much as people fixing up their classic cars is for them to drive them. Get 'em out there. Use them. Absolutely. That's what really fuels the hobby and these types of items are what makes that a more livable ordeal. Pleasurable, modern day experience. Right, right. Well, let's start over here. You got a power lock kit here that I think is really cool. It's a slick little kit- It is. ...because it's completely invisible. It doesn't involve any switches that you're going to have to cut holes or mount, it simply works off the actuation of pulling your door lock up or down. It power operates both sides at the same time. Same thing if you turn your key on the outside, it's going to unlock both sides of the car. Because that's really all you're looking for in power locks is getting that other side to pop open without having to do the lean over Or like in the case my '56 Lincoln, I can't even reach it. Right, right. You get to the bigger cars- You can't get there. ...you can't even reach over there. So that's really a nice unit, good actuators and everything. I got power locks. Yes. You gonna fix me up with power windows? Power windows too. We've got these bolt-in kits and this, all this stuff that we've got out here today, I've got throughout our GM line which is Camaro, Chevelle and Firebird. And it's a bolt-in kit, very high quality stuff. And you need the higher quality kit. There's cheaper kits out there but you need to have the high quality. These old cars, they've got the heavy glass in there, you've really got to have your windows properly adjusted or otherwise there's a lot of binding- These can take the pounding. They can take the pounding. And they come with these great switch kits too that actually have the appearance of an original GM switch cluster. So once you've got these installed, it looks like your car came with factory power windows. It doesn't look like some aftermarket with ABS black plastic buckets and everything else. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It just screams. But you know, the coolest thing, and it is cool, you brought what looks like factory air. What's the deal there, man? These are called our factory fit systems. And these are engineered specifically for applications for our '64 to '72 Chevelle's. We've got them for '67 all the way through 78 'Camaro's and for Firebird, we've just got '67-8. But the really trick thing about these is that they integrate with factory heat only cars. You know, most of the guys out there don't have a factory AC car. For all you guys who have just a heater only car, this system integrates and plugs in to your original heater ducts, or defroster ducts. It marries right into it and blows your AC through there. So you've got no, again, it's a very much more invisible application. It also integrates with your factory heater control cables as well. So you use that very same panel for controlling your AC. And so these are engineered for like perfect fit for those models. Yes, it's a really slick kit. It comes in two parts, all told together it's about $1,270 for the kit. And make no mistake, this is a high quality kit that's going to blow cold AC. It's not a street rod kit that has that combined heater and the AC coil, that is compact, but it doesn't really perform very well. Or the old knee-knocker versions. Right, or the old knee-knocker versions. No, this is all going to fit under your dash into the hood, look like a factory set up with the exception of having the modern Sanden compressor which is always the way to go because they drag so much less on the motor and have less vibration. Absolutely. So like, whether it's, you know, whether it's power locks power windows, or way cool air conditioning. You can bring it up to the 21st century. We've got it all covered. Yeah, and then you can drive your car year round in comfort. Which is what it's all about. That is what it's all about.
